Description
This wulfenite with mottamite is from the Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. This is a famous mine that was unique in that it contained two separate oxidized zones which produced a wealth of mineral specimens with 336 different species represented. This specimen consists of a mostly brecciated calcite matrix that is topped with wulfenite crystals, calcite crystals and mottramite crystals. It measures 2 x 1 7/8 x 1 5/16 inches or 50 x 47 x 33 mm.
