Description
This woolly mammoth tusk section was found in Russia in the northern Siberian region of Yakutia.The tusk is over 10,500 years old. It was preserved in the frozen permafrost of the region. This piece measures 4 5/16 x 2 1/8 inches with a curved surface that is slightly less than 1/8 inches thick.
