This specimen is from Turquoise Mountain in Cerbat, Cerbat District, Wallapai District, Cerbat Mountains, Mojave County, Arizona, USA. This area has 4 known minerals including gold and turquoise. It is a phosphate that contains the elements Cu, Al, Fe, P, O and H. This is a natural, solid, turquoise nodule. It has some oxide staining on the exterior surfaces. It measures 1 3/4 x 1 3/8 x 1 inches or 45 x 35 x 25 mm.
