Description
This elbaite tourmaline, variety indicolite, is from the Stewart Mine at the pala Queen Mountain, Pala, San Diego County, California, USA. The Stewart is one of several mines located on the pegmatite dikes found in the district. It contains 45 different minerals with elbaite tourmaline being one of the most sort after. This crystal is bi-coloered with an indicolite top and an almost black base. It measures 18 x 17 x 12 mm
