Description
This sulfur is from the Machow Mine in Tarnobrzeg, Podkarpackite, Poland. It consists of deep yellow sulfur crystals and crystaline sulfur with some celestite (celestine) crystals attached. The sulfur crystal habits are mixed and range from rhombic and scalenohedral to recrystalized, irregular or complex crystals. It has terminated crystals on all sides and can be displayed from several angles. The photos show it displayed vertically and horizontally. This piece measures 2 7/8 x 2 x 1 3/4 inches or 73 x 50 x 45 mm.
