This stibnite is from the Xikuangshan Sb deposit, Lengshuijane Co., Loudi Prefecture, Hunan, China. This locale contains 24 different mineral species including stibnite. It is a sulfide that contains the elements Sb and S. This specimen consists of a barite crystal covered matrix that is covered with dozens of fan-like clusters of silver stibnite crystals. Both sides of the piece can be displayed. The crystals have a metallic luster.. It measures 3 3/8 x 2 x 1 5/8 inches or 8.6 x 5.1 x 4.15cm
