Description
These native silver wires are from the Freiberg District, Mittelsachsen, Saxony, Germany. This is an ancient mining district rich in history that contains dozens of mines dating from medieval times. The mines contained over 120 different minerals including native silver. The wire silver specimen from here are much sort after today. This aesthetic piece consisting of several wire and horn silvers measures 22 x 22 x 14 mm.
