Description

This native silver is from the Creede Mining District, Mineral County, Colorado, USA. This District contains hundreds of mines that produced 90 different mineral species. The mines were primarily operated for the recovery of silver, gold and other metals. This specimen is a double terminated thick wire with a double taper. It has a black to iridescent patina. It measures approximately 42 x 7 x 4 mm.
