This native silver sheet is from the San Martin Mine, San Martin-Sabinas District, San Martin, Sombrerete Municipality, Zacatecas, Mexico. Twenty-seven different minerals including native silver and bornite. This specimen consists of a thin sheet of native silver that is sandwiched between layers of bornite ranging in size from micro-coating to pebble sized pieces. The piece measures 3 1/2 x 1 15/16 x 5/8 (at the thickest point of the bornite) or 89 x 49 x 16 mm.
