This native silver on cuprite crystal cluster is from the Rubtsovsk Cu-Zn-Pb deposit, Rudnyi Altai, Altai Krai, Western-Siberian Region, Russia. This deposit contains 57 different mineral species including the copper oxide cuprite and the native element silver. This specimen consists of a cluster of large interpenetrating bipyramidal cuprite crystals with intact crystals on all sides and surfaces. They have a reddish-silver color and metallic luster. They host deposits of sponge-like silver crystals. This piece measures 30 x 22 x 20 mm.
