This native silver is from the Alhambra Mine, Black Hawk Mining District, Big Burro Mountains, Grant County, New Mexico, USA. This mine contained 12 different minerals including native silver and Several gangue minerals such as dolomite and calcite. This specimen appears to contain all three minerals and some acanthite. It measures 2 x 1 7/8 x 9/16 inches or 50 x 47 x 14 mm.
