This native silver is from the Imitier Mine in the Imiter District, Tinghir Province, Draa-Tafilalet Region of Morocco.. This is a large silver mine that contains 70 minerals including native silver – Ag. This specimen consists of a mixed matrix of acanthite and native silver that is topped with hundreds of intricate silver wires and minor acanthite. It displays nicely from all sides and angles. This piece measures 3 3/8 x 2 13/16 x 1 inch or 86 x 71 x 25 mm.
