This native silver is from the Cobalt Area, Cobalt-Gowgander Region, Tamiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.The Cobalt Area produced the most silver in the region with hundreds of mines present. This specimen is a plate-like piece consisting of flattened crystals (best viewed under magnification) with minor sulfides present. It measures approximately 2 7/8 x 2 1/8 x 3/16 inches or 73 x 53 x 2mm
