Description
This native silver specimen is from the White Pine Mine, White Pine, Ontonageon County, Michigan, USA. This mine dates back to the 1880’s. It was a copper mine but it also produced 45 million ounces of silver. Many fine specimens of crystallized silver were recovered and sold on the mineral collector market. This is a an excellent specimen with filigree or branching arborescent structure. It measures approximately 90 x 32 x 10 mm.
