There are nine different minerals species, including the silicate, quartz. in this area. It contains the elements Si and O. This specimen consists of a hexagonal milky quartz staff that is topped with a complex skeletal growth cap. It has a dusty beige color that is caused by a kaolinite coating. It measures 4 x 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches or 102 x 45 x 32 mm.
