Description
This marialite crystal is from Aracruz in Espirito Santo, Brazil. Marialite is a silicate and a variety of scapolite. It contains the elements Na, Al, Si, O and Cl. This crystal is a tabular shaped floater with terminated surfaces on all sides and both terminations. It has lightly etched surfaces and a glassy luster. This is a large thumbnail that measures 26 x 19 x 8 mm.
