This is a collection of ruby-rutile crystals from the Adam’s Farm in Hiddenite, Alexander County, North Carolina, USA. Various locales in this area are mined for emerald, beryl and the mineral hiddenite. Rutile is an associated mineral in the pegmatite veins. This collection consists of an assortment of crystals. They vary in characteristics from single and double terminated crystals to parallel, vee, and crossed twins as well as reticulated. They have a ruby to dark red color and a mirror luster. They come in a 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch glass covered riker mount display case. The longest crystal is approximately 33 mm.

Crystals may shift during shipment and may require re-positioning.
