These roselite crystals are from Aghbar, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Region, Draa-Tifilalet Region, Morocco. This locale has two active mines that contain 53 mineral species including roselite. It is an arsenate that contains the elements Ca, Co, As, O and H. This specimen consists of a quartz and calcite matrix that contains a small exposed vug containing gemmy roselite crystals. The largest crystal is approximately 5 mm. The piece measures 1 7/8 x 1 x 1/1/8 inches or 47 x 25 x 28 mm.
