These rose quartz crystals are from the Lavra da Ilha in Taquaral, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Quartz is a silicate containing the elements Si and O. Rose quartz gets it’s unique pink colors from the trace elements Al and P that are present in the crystal lattice. It is found In pegmatite pockets usually as a secondary growth on quartz and other silicates. This piece is a cluster made up of several attached rosette and complex formations of pink rose quartz crystals. This piece measures 37 x 28 x 21 mm
