Description
This pyromorphite is from the Daoping Mine in Congcheng Co., Guilan Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. This is a lead-zinc deposit containing 13 different mineral species including pyromorphite. It is a lead phosphate that contains the elements Pb, P, O, and Cl. This specimen consists of clusters of barrel shaped and druse pyromorphite crystals on a breccia quartz matrix.. All crystals are intact and the specimen can be displayed from several angles. It is a small miniature that measures 1 1/8 x 7/8 x 9/16 inches or 28 x 22 x 14 mm.
