Description
This pyromorphite is from the Daoping Mine in Congcheng Co., Guilan Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. This is a lead-zinc deposit containing 13 different mineral species including pyromorphite. It is a lead phosphate that contains the elements Pb, P, O, and Cl. This specimen consists of clusters of tabular, barrel shaped and druse pyromorphite crystals on a remnant pyromorphite matrix. This piece measures 1 1/4 1 1/2 x 7/8 inches or 32 x 38 x 22 mm.
