This pyromorphite is from the Bunker Hill Mine, Bunker Hill properties, Kellogg, Coeur d’Alene District, Shoshone County, Idaho, USA.  This is a large mixed metals deposit containing 34 different mineral species including pyromorphite. It is a lead phosphate that contains the elements Pb, P, O, and Cl. This specimen consists of a double sided crystal plate-like formation of bright orange to yellow mimetite crystals. They have a bright vitreous luster, It has a vitreous luster.  This piece measures 2 x 1 1/2 x 15/16 inches or 50 x 38 x 24 mm.
