This proustite is from the Imitier Mine in the Imiter Mine in the Imiter District, Tinghir Province, Draa-Tafilalet Region of Morocco.. This is a large silver mine that contains 70 minerals including proustite. It is a silver sulfide found in the oxidation zones of silver ore deposits and It  contains the elements Ag and S. This specimen consists of an ore matrix that hosts dozens of red proustite crystals on the display side.  This piece is a small cabinet that measures 2 1/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/8 inches or 53 x 38 x 28 mm
