This proustite is from the Imitier Mine in the Imiter Mine in the Imiter District, Tinghir Province, Draa-Tafilalet Region of Morocco.. This is a large silver mine that contains 70 minerals including proustite. It is a silver sulfide found in the oxidation zones of silver ore deposits and It contains the elements Ag and S.
