Description
This polished fluorite that is found in the Hunan Province of China. It is composed of multiple layers or deposits of different colors shades and hues. Fluorite is a halide mineral containing the elements Fl and Ca. It is colorless when pure and changes in colors were created by the different impurities contained in the crystal lattice. This type of fluorite is often call “rainbow fluorite” because it can host a spectrum of colors. It was mined, cut and polished in China. It has a gem luster. It measures 2 3/4 tall x 7/8 inches square at the base.
