Description
This phenakite crystal is from Rio Piracicaba (Sao Miguel de Piracicaba), Minas Gerais, Brazil. Phenakite is an uncommon beryllium silicate containing the elements Be, Si and O. This crystal is well defined with distinct facets, edges and corners. It is transparent with some internal flawing and crystalline inclusions. It weighs 16.6 carats and it measures 17 x 14 x 9 mm.
