Description
This piece is from Erongo Mountain in the Erongo Region of Namibia. This locale encompasses a large area that contains 60 different mineral species including fluorite. It is a halide mineral that contains the elements Ca and F. This specimen is an uncommon scepter shaped crystal with a hoppered, dark green, rectangular staff and a hoppered, light green, octahedral cap. It measures 1 x 11/16 x 9/16 inches or 25 x 17 x 14 mm.
