This ocean jasper is an orbicular (radiating-round) jasper that can contain a combination of up to 10 colors. It was mined off the coast of Ihosy in northen Madagascar which is how it got it’s name. This slab is polished to a glassy luster on both sides. It has a naturally formed perimeter and contains small vugs of crystals. It measures 7 1/4 x 5 7/8 x 3/16 inches or 18.4 x 15.0 x .5 cm.
