These native silver crystals and wires are from the Batopilas Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico. This locale is famous for the dozens of silver mines found there. They contain 42 different minerals including native silver and calcite. This piece consists of a calcite matrix with both exposed and partially exposed crystals and wires of native silver. The piece measures approximately 80 x 44 x 20 mm.
