Description
This morganite crystal is from the Krasnochikoysky District, Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, There are two listed locations for morganite beryl from this locale and both can appear similar in appearance. This crystal is a floater with a crude semi-hexagonal shape and highly altered terminated surfaces on all sides of the crystal. It is transparent with internal flawing and a glass luster. It weighs 103 grams. It measures approximately 55 x 42 x 33 mm.
