This meteorite is from Gran Chaco Gualamba, Argentina. It was found and recorded as early as 1576. This piece was found in 1988 and it is an Iron Octahedrite 3.0 mm IA class. This meteorite is actually two fragments that are molded and attached to each other but still move separately. It has been tumbled and has little surface rust.The fragments attachment point is shown in photos 5 and 6. They measure 1 1/2 x 1 1/8 x 5/8 inches or 38 x 28 x 16 mm and weigh 22.8 grams.
