Description
This marcasite specimen is from Madagascar. Marcasite is a sulfide containing the elements Fe, and S. This specimen consists of two sphere shaped clusters of brassy to iridescent crystals that are connected by a granular to crystalline matrix. This piece measures 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 1 1/16 inches or 45 x 32 x 26 mm.
