It is famous for the outstanding magnetite from there. Magnetite is an oxide that contains the elements Fe and O. This specimen consists of a crystalline feldspar and magnetite mixed matrix. The matrix hosts octahedral magnetite crystals and small feldspar crystals. The magnetite crystals are octahedral with sharp corners and edges. They have a silver-grey color and sub-metallic luster.
