Description
This ludlamite is from the Huannuni Mine in Huanuni, Dalence Province, Oruro Region, Bolivia. This area is the largest cassiterite deposit known. It also contains 61 different mineral species including the phosphate ludlamite. It contains the elements Fe, P, O and H. This specimen consists of a limonite and siderite crystal matrix that hosts blue-green ludlamite crystals.The piece measures 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/8 inches or 73 x 41 x 28 mm.
