Description
This ludlamite is from the Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdan, Chihuahua, Mexico. Over 180 different mineral species including the phosphate ludlamite can be found in this district. It contains the elements Fe, P, O and H. This specimen consists of a crystalline calcite matrix that contains an exposed seam that is filled with green ludlamite crystals.The piece measures 1 11/16 x 1 x 7/8 inches or 44 x 25 x 22 mm.
