Description
This leucite is from the Roccamonfina Volcanic Complex in the Caserta Province, Campania, Italy. Five species of minerals are present at this locale including the silicate leucite. It contains the elements K, Si, Al, And O. This cluster consists of about a half dozen interpenetrating leucite crystals. It contains some minor augite and tefitic matrix. The cluster measures 1 1/8 x 1 x 1 inches or 28 x 25 x 25 mm.
