Description
This copper mineral mix is from the Mashamba West Mine in the Kolwezi District, Lualaba, DR Congo. This is an interesting piece that consists of a cobaltoan calcite matrix that hosts the following minerals; heterogenite (Co H and O), malachite pseudomorphs of either azurite or barite (Cu, C O and H), conichalcite (Cu, As, O and H), and plancheite (Cu, Si, O and H). It Measures 2 x 1 x 15/16 inches or 50 x 25 x 24 mm.
