This fluorite is from the Xianghuapu Mine in Xianghualing Sn-polymetallic ore field, Linwu County, Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province China. This is a beryllium mine that contains 24 different minerals including fluorite. It is a halide that contains the elements Ca and F. This specimen consists of a cluster of green, translucent to transparent, fluorite crystals. The crystals have a cubic morphology and an exceptional glass luster.
