These fluorite crystals are from the Huanggang Fe-Sn deposit in the Hexigten Banner, Ulanhad League, Inner Mongolia, China. This tin-iron deposit contains over 60 different mineral species including many different types of fluorite. It is a halide that contains the elements Ca and F. This specimen is an example of both a rare color and rare morphology. The fluorite crystals are octahedral and pink in color with green inclusions of chlorite. There are grain-like arsenopyrite crystals attached along with white calcite crystals attached to the crystals. The rear bottom of the crystals have recrystallized or healed surfaces as shown in photos 6 and 7. The piece is a small cabinet that measures 2 3/16 x 1 9/16 x 1 9/16 inches or 56 x 36 x 37 mm.
