Description
This fluorite is from the Wolsendorf Mining District in the Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. This district contains over 90 different minerals including fluorite. It is a halide and it contains the elements Ca and F. This specimen consists of translucent green cubic fluorite crystals with red inclusions of hematite. The fluorites have a bright glassy luster. This piece measures 3 5/16 x 1 5/8 x 13/16 inches or 83 x 41 x 20 mm.
