Description
This translucent fluorapatite crystal is from the Golconda pegmatite field, Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This field has over a dozen mines that contained 18 different minerals including the phosphate fluorapatite. It contains the elements Ca, P, O and F This thumbnail sized specimen measures approximately 19 x 14 x 9 mm.
