Description
This fluorapatite is from the Panasqueira mines locale in Covilha, Castelo Branco District, This is a large tin-tungstun mine that contains 87 different minerals. It is famous for the many outstanding mineral specimens found there including its fluorapatite. This piece consists of a primary crystal with several secondary crystals attached. It measures approximately 50 x 35 x 27 mm.
