This fluorapatite is from the Borborema Mineral Province in the Rio Grande do Norte State of Brazil. there are dozens of mines in this area and they contain almost 200 different minerals including fluorapatite. It is a phosphate mineral that contains the elements Ca, P, O and  F, It is commonly found in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites This specimen consists of a feldspar and quartz crystal matrix that hosts translucent, blue and white apatite crystals.. They have cylindrical barrel-like shapes. From one orientation of the piece the crystals have a glassy luster and when viewed in the reverse direction they have a frosty appearance that is caused by secondary deposits of micro apatite crystals. This piece measures 1 1/2 x 1 x 7/8 inches or 37 x 25 x 22 mm.
