Description
This elbaite tourmaline is from the Minh Tien Minein Luc Yen District in the Yen Bai Province of Vietnam. This elbaite contains the elements Na, Al, Li, Si, B, O and H. This is a multi-terminated contact parallel twinned crystal. It has mostly glass luster with green and pink zoning that is translucent under bright light. It measures approximately 1 5/8 x 7/8 x 11/16 inches or 41 x 22 x 18 mm.
