This dravite tourmaline is from the Rampura-Aguchi Zn Deposit in the Biwara District, Ajmer Division, Rajasthan, India. Dravite is in the tourmaline group of minerals. It is a silicate that contains the elements, Na, Mg, Al, Si, O, B and H. This specimen is double terminated with dual pyramidal terminations and nine prism faces. It has a vitreous luster and a dark brown color with faint flashes of gold within the crystal when under bright light. It measures 1 5/8 x 7/8 x 3/4 inches or 41 x 22 x 19 mm.
