This piece is from the Poteryaevskoe Mine in the Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit, Rudnyi Altai, Altaisskii Krai, Western-Siberian Region, Russia. It is a cluster of interpenetrationg, bipyramidal, cuprite crystals. The cluster has terminated crystals on all sides with minor former attachment point on the base of the formation. This piece measures 7/8 x 3/4 x 11/16 inches or 22 x 19 x 18 mm.
