Description
This native copper with cobaltoan calcite is from the Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo. This district contains several mines in which both copper and cobaltoan calcite are found. You dont see many specimens of the combination of the two on the market. This specimen consists of a shattered druse cobaltoan calcite covered matrix that contains veins and dendrites of native copper. The piece measures approximately 96 x 60 x 20 mm.
