This native copper is from the White Pine Mine at White Pine, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA. This mine dates back to 1880. It produced four billion pounds of copper including many copper specimens for collection. This piece is heavy vein-like deposit of native copper. It is over 2 inches at its thickest and sheetlike at its thinnest parts. All photos are of the display side except photo 4 which shows the reverse. This piece measures approximately 10 x 9 x 2 1/4 inches. It weighs just over 9 lbs and 5+ oz.
