This native copper is from the 14 Level, Geevor Mine, Pendeen, St Just, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. This was one of the last deep copper tin mines in Cornwall and it closed in 1992. It contained 55 different minerals including native copper. This specimen is a mass consisting of hundreds of small well defined crystals with minor oxides present. It measures approximately 1 7/8 x 1 x 7/8 inches or 47 x 25 x 22 mm.
