This native copper specimen is from the Isle Royal Mines in Houghton, Houghton County, Michigan, USA. This was an underground mine that worked copper veins as well as amygdaloid deposits. It contained 40 different minerals including native copper in crystal form. This crystal formation measures 4 1/4 x 3 3/4 x 1/2 inches (stand not included).
