These native copper crystal spinel twins are from the Chino Mine in Santa Rita, Grant County, New Mexico, USA. They are from the 2006 find by Stan Esbenshade. He found a boulder that had some partially exposed crystals and then carefully leached and trimmed hundreds of copper specimens from it. The most famous pieces were the coppers with spinel twinned habits. This piece is double terminated and it consists of complex spinel twinned copper crystals. They are large, well defined and aesthetic. It can be displayed from all sides and angles. This piece measures approximately 1 3/8 x 5/8 x 9/16 inches or 39 x 16 x 14 mm.
